Oh, Hello there! Just getting settled in.
Oh, Hi! Welcome to Strangetown, and my journal.

I have been so inspired by reading the Strangetown stories of other sims storytellers on livejournal, that I have decided to start my own. For now, this is just a test post to warm up. Nothing too exciting here yet, as I'm clueless about livejournal, so I have to figure it all out. If anyone feels helpful, I'd love to know how to set up a banner on the top of my page - a custom one, preferably.

For now, you can join the Smustle! Gabardine (an alien sim of mine, created in BodyShop) warns that it can be easy to become injured while smustling, so be careful! That's gotta hurt, Erin!

The pic is from a Strangetown themed Asylum Challenge that I have been playing. I may post the results later for a "laurgh". Please take my advice to never do this challenge with a pleasure sim as your controllable character - Having 50 first dates is a brutal LTW in the best of times, and it's hard to find time to date when you are trying to manage the constant kitchen fires and fights (all Circe related).

Okay, I think I have figured out the heading thing. It's dependent on your style of page layout, right? Seems like this "bloggish" one has the best title header. I like it for now anyway. I am guessing that any real customization would require a paid account. I'm going to try to walk before I run, though.

I was about to say that -- it depends on your journal layout/theme. I had a custom header, but the theme seemed to contribute to frequent browser crashing, so I switched. I like the one you have, though.

Hilarious pic! And Garbadine's gorgeous. I love the short hair/pointy ears combination. ^_^

Gabby actually has one of those OFB flight helmets (which are just awesome), but when she is in her pajamas she has the short female hair - works for me, since I like short hair. I would like to find downloads that would open the male styles to females - have you ever seen that? I love that helmet so much on her. I'm a big fan of adding glasses and other nerdy adornments to my sims in general.

I'm glad you like the layout. I love red, so it works for me. The tan seems to suggest a desert, which seems Strangetown appropriate.

I have quite a collection of male-to-female hair. I should gather up all the links I can find and post them to my Sims journal (asimmetrical) sometime -- I do mean to use it to discuss general game-related stuff as well as post stories -- but I've been a busy bee going through all my obscene amount of custom content and deleting things like crazy, recoloring and editing alphas, making new goodies, and other organizational schtuff.

Oh, I would love it if you could direct me to some manly hair for the girls. So much cc for the ladies is so ultra girly, it makes me react in the opposite direction. Well, I like variety, anyway.

I have a Maxis "messy" hair, a brush cut, and a bald head for women right now - not nearly enough. I get most of my cc from MTS2, so I could use some new recommendations.

Oh, Strangetown! I love all things Strangetown. And Nervous Subject is one of my favorite sims. I must friend this journal!
