Changing livejournal user name?
Is it possible to change your username once you've set up a livejournal? I want to switch to something less confusing, since I'll be posting stories about Nervous and I'm also using him as my pseudonym.  Is there an easy way to do this, or should I cut my losses and start a new journal now before I start posting the stories?

Hi, don't mind my lurking. You can change your journal name, it costs money though. Here's the FAQ about it. Hope it helps. :)

Thank you! That's useful, but I'm not sure if it's worth the $15US, since there is so little on this journal at this point. I may just start over and use the money on a paid account (this one is just basic).

I don't think it's confusing, but then I named my journal for 2 of my sims, so maybe I just think that. Anyway, new names are fun. What are you thinking of changing it to? Are you keeping this journal, too?

I'm not really sure how to handle it. I'll probably just leave this journal here (wouldn't want to lose the comments and all that) and leave a message pointing to the new one.

I think I'm going to change it to something more unique so I'm easier to refer to in 3rd person. Is that weird? I'm so darn indecisive about things as simple as a name that I bother myself, but I have something in mind now: dolly_wren. I made a list of words and things that I liked and then tested them in different combinations, and I like how these two sound like a proper name when put together. It's not sim-related, but I figure my icon will tip people off about that.

I like how your username is the names of your sims. It works because they are your unique characters. I also like Madame Ugly's name - it's her raison d'être. I also tried a bunch of words and phrases with "sim" in it, but nothing really worked for me.
